Ikija Day School Enhancement Project

Working with the Ikija Day School in Lagos Nigeria, we donated a fully equipped Computer Lab with several computers, a projector, screen, generator, etc. Through this, we hold weekly Women Empowerment Sessions.

The Ikija Day School is a small educational institution located in Lagos, Nigeria. Despite its limited resources, the school serves as an important hub for learning and development for the local community. However, the school has faced a number of challenges, particularly when it comes to technology and resources. That’s why our non-profit organization decided to donate a fully equipped computer lab to the school, complete with a projector system and screen, computers, and a generator.

Our team worked tirelessly to gather the necessary resources and equipment, including sourcing high-quality computers and purchasing a generator to ensure that the lab would have a reliable source of power. We also enlisted the help of local contractors and electricians to install the necessary wiring and equipment for the projector system and screen.

The impact of our donation was immediate and profound. The students at the Ikija Day School were thrilled to have access to the latest technology and resources, and their enthusiasm was contagious. The computer lab quickly became a hub of activity and learning, with students using the computers to explore new topics.

In addition to providing a valuable resource for the students, the computer lab also served as a catalyst for community empowerment. Our non-profit organization holds weekly women’s empowerment sessions at the school, which are attended by both students and members of the local community. The sessions focus on topics like health, entrepreneurship, and personal development, and provide a valuable opportunity for women to connect, learn, and grow.

The computer lab has been a key component of these sessions, with participants using the technology to access information and resources related to the topics being discussed. The projector system and screen have also been used to screen educational films and videos, providing an additional avenue for learning and discussion.

Overall, the donation of the computer lab to the Ikija Day School has been a great success. It has provided a valuable resource for the students and community members, and has helped to empower women and girls through the weekly empowerment sessions. Our non-profit organization is proud to have been able to make a difference in the lives of these individuals, and we look forward to continuing our work to support education and empowerment around the world.
